Our free, independent, confidential and impartial advice is available for everyone online, by phone or in person at Citizens Advice Hartlepool. We help people resolve their problems with benefits, work, debt and money, consumer, discrimination and many other issues.


From the website, we provide practical, reliable advice online. The information covers the law in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

Need advice on a consumer issue?

You can find our consumer advice online, but we also have a Citizens Advice consumer service. Our consumer service provides advice on issues around buying goods or services. This includes being treated unfairly by a trader, receiving a poor service or you may want to switch energy suppliers or cancel a contract.
